Is the silver ps2 any good?

Have seen alot about the dead v9 pal ps2, and most of them are uk ps2s, and also notice that most dead v9 are black in color rather than the special silver ps2 (correct me if I am wrong), so anyone come across any dead silver ps2?

just went out and saw all silver ps2 has got a serial 50003, so just guess that's all v9, any chance to get a v10 silver in the UK?


also haven't seen lots of death v10 out there, is it because not too much people get the v10, or it works fine with all chips? maybe anybody can tell where can get a v10 in the uk, just went out saw all black are 50003 as well, damn.

last thing, I also consider to get a v7 rather than thoes new v9 or v10, but I don't know whether v7 has a slient fan as v9 has, and also don't know whether v7 can read dvd -r/-rw movie without mod.

There are plenty of v-10 silvers around, the v-9 silvers have a yellow + on the box scph-50003, and the v-10 silvers have a silver + on the box scph-50003, ive modded plenty of silvers, and no dead ones as yet!
