is silent hill 2 directors cut and Greatest hits the same or are they 2 different version and whats different if anything at all?
I haven't played directors cut, but i'm 99% there different...Seriosuly though, there isn't much difference with any "director cut" games though. A few things different...I remember playing Resident Evil, and Resident Evil: Directors Cut..Few locations of the items were somewhat different I think, and a couple peices of the story weren't exactly the same.
If you were thinking about getting the game or something then my advice would be the Directors cut.
ya i was thinking about buying the game, cuz i just started playing silent hill 1 for ps1 and its actually scaryhehe so now i want to conquer 2 and 3 for ps2. I've heard directors cut wasn't released in the states and its refered to as the Greatest Hits in the usa? am i wrong?
I got no idea, but I have Silent Hill 2, and Silent Hill 3...If your a fan of SIlent Hill I guess you'd probaly like the games, but I personally think both aren't very good. 2 you fight some kind of screeching ripped apart zombie looking things (They aren't hard...Just annoying)...I never beat the whole thing just got tired of them making noise, and beating them with a pipe was fun for a while..Then, I got bored.
Silent Hill 3 has nice graphics, and was better than 2...IMO the game is TO DARK. It's not even scary dark...It's like I CAN'T SEE SHIT dark. The monsters look just like a peice of red meat coming after you...I'd be more scared if a steak came running after me. I played about 2 hours worth of the game...it was decent...Got fraustrated cuz I was lost in the dark though with no flash light, and kept having to hit X along the wall just to find the damn door!!!! And after I found the flashlight...Game still didn't get no better...
SO, if you enjoyed Silent Hill you'd probaly like 2 and 3...I got the dvd-r version of the game so i'm not to mad about not liking them...Definitely wouldn't pay 20 bucks for either of them (I think SH3 is more though).
