Several Problems with my V4
Recently, my PS2 refused to load any games, while toying with it, I realized that apparently the disks were not spining.
So I opened it, and tested to see if it was or not spining; my results: without the guard the disk were able to spin, with the guard they did not.
I reassembled it to take it to the shop, but then after I put it back together, the tray was not opening and the reset led was not on.
I took it to the repair shop, I explain my problem. Ok so the tech guy swaps the BA5815, and he tells me that now the tray open but he got a weird problem. A problem which e was very vague to describe.
Now he tells me that he changed agian the ba, check if he had shorts between pins, check all the fuses and all of them were ok.
He gave up on my machine and gave it back to me.
Two things when I plugged my PS2, and turn it on the tray came up at very high speed and refuses to go back in and it is making a lot of noises.
The ba that he installed was not brand new, he just took it out of another MB and soldered it to mine.
Now I have read a lot of threads about this, but the only things that I have come up with is to change both BA chips, and possibly changing the tray assembly complete with the motor.
Can anybody help me, please.
If you think that this is needed: my lens is new it is less than one year old, and I bought it brand new.
I had been playing games from the HDD, for about 2.5 months prior to the problem. Got HDLoader runing from the MC
