I work at sears, and aparently we are no longer going to be selling the console as it is. we are only selling the online packs, and therefore marking down all of our ps2's to 127 bucks.

It is really odd to me but maybe they are goign to be doing this everwhere, maybe KB and EB are next?

Usually when sears has a sale in one district or a discontinuation, its sent from corporate and goes on down from there to every store

What i am getting at is that i have not checked other stores yet, but if my store has it, 99% of the time, so does yours.

i dont see it as being odd at all. a bba and ps2 cost more than the online pack, and the online pack was only $20 more anyway. there's no reason to sell two packages of what are esentially the same product to end up competing with eachother. and i'm sure that sonys reasoning for the online pack in the first place was that they want more people to own bba's anyway.

Arrrrrrrr, 'tis Nationwide, it is. Me RL friend works in the electronics dept at Sears as well. He reported the same to me as well, just didn't have a price to confirm. Prices may vary from store ta store, as his UNCONFIRMED price were $99 for a regular Non-Online PS2.
