My PS2 (SCPH-30001R) I bought as non-working unit and repaired the bad laser. I set my PS2 up with a N/A and a 500GB Seagate HD. I have connection problems when trying to make a broadband or Lan connection using the online startup disc 3.0 or 4.0. I keep getting an error 881? (it's been awhile since I've tried it but I believe its error 881) I've read somewhere on the net that this was due to something wrong with the PS2, and most were sent in to be replaced by Sony. Is there any truth to this? before I toss this PS2 and buy alittle newer one I'd like to make sure so I don't run into the same problem again.
