Ok I used to be a big PS2 fan and i used to solder messiah 2 chips all the time on v7s. I have left the scene for months and now im lost. LOL!
I even forgot how to burn games
anyway. I dont know where to start about ps2 harddrives.
I hear that you can play games from the hard drive like xbox.
my question is what do i need to buy? and how much will it cost me?
I have a v7 and M2 chip. is this ok? what hard drives are compatible?
any tutorials or FAQs will be much appreciated.

    thanks

The hard drive plugs in to the network adapter and then the whole assembly slides into the expantion bay on the back of the ps2. When buying a hard drive make sure that whatever drive you buy will line up with the ide/power connectors on the network adapter. Most if not all maxtor drives work flawlessly. But search around, there are tons of tutorials all over the internet that can get you up and running in no time.
