Quesitons about a modded PS2 /w ModBo4.0 SCPH-90001

Hi guys,

I was considering buying a modded PS2 Slim SCPH-90001 With ModBo4.0. Now I had a question if anyone could answer that would be awesome.

The stats for this product list it as being able to play PS1 games except:
SUPPORTS ANTI-MOD PS1 GAMES !! (Only for V1--V16 PS2)

Now obviously this isn't gonna support the anti-mod PS1 games. Is there anyway around this so with this particular chip, I can play any PS1 game, like Resident Evil 3 and others?

Yes, most (Libcrypt-)protected PS1-Games can be patched.

But I'm not sure, ifPS1-Support is working on those PS2-Models at all (with this modchip, or with any other modchip...).
