    Can someone help me play NTSC PSX games on PAL consoles? After years of playing black bordered, squashed aspect ratio, 17.5% slower, I want to finally play games (mainly FFVII, VIII, IX) properly.

    I tried using a modded PSX on a CRT TV with a scart. Full screen, full speed, but black and white (probably because of the crap scart). Using a boot disc I can get it in colour, but bordered and slower. Could I get around this by applying patches or something?

    I have a PAL PS2 with FreeMCBoot, connected via component. Other than waiting for PS2PSXe, what's the best way to play NTSC backups in fullscreen, at 60hz, and in colour?
