Nope, the black screen issues are mostly because of via's and cdvd controller problems. Happens quite often, especially some days after chipping. Hdd loader won't be an issue that's sure, but I will be happy if the laser issues are also gone. (which to be honest I doubt)

all I know is that I was surpised how small it was, the pictures don't do it just... totally small. and yes, support is coming for it as well :-)

just saw an ad sell the old ps2 for 160 ish CDN @ wal-mart only (oct16-oct22), just to let u guys know

I heard there was a way to use mini switches to get the new pstwo to work with swap magic,off a site I don't want to mention.The thing I was looking at was making a tray to slide in out,kinda like the swipe card method.I agree though with the people that say get the older PS2 systems.They seem to better in the hdd department,since the port to hook a harddrive up to the new pstwo is gone.I guess usb being recognized would be something to look into right for hdd on the new pstwo.I also seen that the crystal mods work on the new pstwo,just seen it today on the front page

.If you can get a hold of the older PS2 models that would definately be the way to go,but the new pstwo is not bad to be honest.It just lacks all the things the older PS2 models could do in some ways.

if u go to wal-mart (in Canada) u can get a brand new ps2 (not PStwo) for 158.23 CAD while quantities last from oct 16 to the 22. saw the ad on ign. Can i post the ad here in this thread?
