PStwo noises

I hear a noise coming from my PStwo when no cd is in it. It sounds like a "clicking" somewhat. Or a scratching maybe? Could the fan be dying already and it's only two weeks old?

is the console modified?

honestly buddy, you aren't the first person that Ive heard say that. Actually, I already know 2 people that had to return the ps2 cuz it died. I hope you got some insurance. while it might seem like a waste of money now, all first installment systems kinda screw up (this might be a 12th revision of the ps2.....technically its a first of the mini brand). You have people who are lucky that never have problems then u have people that jus luck out. my suggestion if u havent already purchased the warrenty, ask if u still can and the return it. take advantage of that replacement plan.

Thanks :). I might just chip it though. And use this one as a test chipping. It dies then it dies.

You'd think their warrenty would be free for all the problems they've been having. Thanks for the replies :).
