With a cobra dongle you can ay some native PSP games on a PS3, but a PS2 just isn't powerful enough to emulate a PSP.

Wrong! The PS2 haves more power then the PSP (1000 to the PSPGo). Also Sony release some games for the PS2 that are PSP Ports.... like "Evangelion: Jo" and "Soul Eater: Battle Resonance"... Now if someone knows how the game was ported... Then maybe it can be done, but I'm sure its going to need a lot of Hex Editing.
But as you all know... its faster to just hack/mod a PSP.

Wrong! Just because System A is more powerful than System B, does not mean that System A can emulate System B.

When a game is ported, the original source code is re-engineered and compiled into a completely new executable. It's not a matter of just doing some hex edits.

Please make sure you know what you are talking about before you call somebody out as being wrong.

Actually I have to say you are both right

Depends on game and the person doing the Hex edit some might work while other would never work without some major changes in code

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

I just don't see how you could get an executable for the PSP to run on the PS2 without emulation or a complete re-compile.

That is why I said it would be real hard to do

It would probably require a almost total re wright of the code the ISO layout is totally different and about emulating it forget about it
