psone games not compatible with ps2

hi,

anybody know where i can find a list of psone games that dont work on ps2? i know i found one a few months ago on the playstation2 website, but cant find it anymore. im wondering, because ive been playing xenogears on the ps2 and it hangs at a certain place, all the time. i pop it into my friends psone and it works just fine.

Hmm I can play Xenogears just fine on my PS2, no problems at all...

right when Fei and Matreya (in gears) fight the border fleet, after defeating Elly, theres that desert sequence where Fei has to get past the defences and attack the flagship. As soon as Fei reaches the flagship, the boss battle begins, where you fight the two small guns and the big gun. It freezes right before the small gun shoots. the message "small gun" appears, and then the game stops there. its not really a crash; the game is still running, and i can pause and stuff, but the enemy never fires. it just stays there forever.
I dont get this problem in a psone. This happens with both my original and backup. Its not really a big deal now though, since i just got past it on the psone and saved.

Wierd, I completed that part fine on my PS2 without any freezing.

I read somewhere a list of four games that supposedly didn't work. I think one of the FF collections was one of them. BUt I dunno if there really are any, you'd think sony could reduplicate their own consoles properly
