PS3 Questions, I knwo this is kinda soon, but I still want to know....

There's currently a battle over which format the HiDef movies are gonna come out on. Blu-Ray was developed by $ony and HD-DVD was developed by Toshiba. Both have some benefits. Last time I checked $ony and Toshiba were trying to settle on one standard. They were thinking about putting best of both worlds into a single standard.

I'd hate to see HD-DVD and Blu-Ray to come out, as all $ony sh*t will be Blu-Ray and everything else will be HD-DVD. Look at the digital cameras. Most of all digi cams take SD cards, no one other than $ony takes Memory Sticks, except for some Samsung camrecorders, but they also take SDs. So that only leaves $ony. Olympus and Fuji are xD, but they don't make up that much of the market.

Ps3 has a 2.5" harddrive port, the regular harddrives are 3.5" , so i guess that's one of the ways sony is trying to prevent people from copying games onto the harddrive.. And by the way, i read at gamespot , X360 will be backward compatible with some xbox games...

its not like people cant modify the holder to take a bigger drive, they added hdd support to the pstwo, and didnt even have a normal hdd in that anywhere

and i thought it was going to be a 3.5" drive .....

when a xbox game comes out like tony halk they are not goun to makethe ps3 better it will be the same as xbox

I have to say "your wrong" when it comes to this. the graphics are totally different. Compairing these two would be like comparing the graphics of the ps1 tony halk 3, and the n64 ver. there will be changes. look at king kong ^^
Plus compairing ps3 to xbox 360 is like compairing a psp to a ds.

Some is the keyword here. anyway you need to have the good ver of xbox 360.. not the core. which is why playstation is the better deal. no need of adding on stuff like "dvd drive" like the first xbox... big dissapointment
