PS2 Vertical Stands

Anybody have one of these 3-in-1 PS2 vertical stands? I think this style is really nice because of the multitap,video selector and remote. I've been thinking about finding one. My only concern is the multitap... will it still boot freemcboot from the multitap mem card slot?

I've used 2 different multitaps, not the one you've illustrated, but similar. And they've both run FMCB just fine from the memory slot in them. So given that it's 2 for 2 on that department, I'm guessing it will work just fine.

I can tell from the remote that the multi-tap in the pic is an intec brand. I have an intec multi-tap for the slim PS2 that I can test with FMCB. If that one works, it's a good chance yours will too.

Also I was able to find these at a pretty dang good price I think @ $17.99 with free s/h.

just use slot 2 for the FMCB mem card... will always boot from there.... no need to worry about the multi tap!!!

I guess I never tried FMCB from slot 2. I like that idea better!

Just tested my intec multi-tap/horizontal stand/AV selector for slim PS twos that looks like this:

It worked fine with FMCB in MC on Slot 1 of multi-tap. Slot 2 of multi-tap doesn't work though.

That vertical stand you have pictured looks like it takes up as much room as if the PS2 was in the horizontal position,

looks cool though.
