    Hi All,

I tried installing Crystal Pro 2 modchip on PS2 (Version 15B : SCPH-77001b / GH-051-51), but I was not successfull. There was no display when connected to TV and even the led on the crystal pro 2 chip is glowing continously. When I retested the PS2 after removing modchip and soldering, still there is no display. Can anyone help me.

check the fuses and also look for shorts around the bios area.

Can you please let us know the location of fuses to search for in the ps2 board and the areas for shorts if you have seen the V15 board for us to corner the problems. If you can upload any image links that would help us.

    Thanks

I don't have a v15 diag handy, but the following should help you along. look for all the PS markings on the mobo.

check over all the areas where you soldered - its easy to splash solder on the chips when your working.
