ps2 stuff without a modded or otherwise changed mem card that i can put on it

i would like to know if theres any cool things that i can put on my phat ps2 that i dont need to go digging around in it for or its mem cards

One of the coolest things you can do to a fat ps2 is to put a hard drive inside it and play games from the hard drive. If you insist on not modding your memory card, you could probably still buy HDLoader to install and run games from the hard drive, but why not mod your memory card and get HDLoader for free or better yet OPL? I don't understand why you don't want to mod your card, memory cards are cheap, available, and easily modded and will enable you to run all kinds of homebrew, emu's, media players, utility programs and OPL, the best homebrew ever made for ps2. The best advice I could give you is to mod your memory card with FMCB, if you can't do it yourself pay for postage and have it done, then play with some of the homebrew that's available and see what you like, there's something for everyone!
