Simple really what range am I looking for when i'm going to buy a unit?

I need the SCPH's which have the IDE pads on the motherboard.

What range am i looking for in UK PS2 Slims? SCPH-XXXXX?

Also the FMCB exploit is still present in all IDE PS2 slims isn't it?

Is there any supplliers that still sell the ribbon IDE solder overlays or not?

    Regards, -Si

    Awesome, Thanks TnA!
    Now time to get soldering

    EDIT: For a SCPH-700XX I don't need a mod-chip do I?
    Any other you need one?

I do have a FMCB compatible phatty that can make the region specific card I need.

    Yepp, these Slims are FMCB-Compatible.
...and yes, if you want to have an HDD in any other model then the 700xx, then you need to get HD-PRO which includes a modchip...
