I change my ps2 slim lens 2 times and they burnt in less than 1 hour!!!
my ps2 slim is not modded (no chip). How can i fix this? Could some of the Surface mount Resistors have burnt as well?? I checked the one near the PS3 (check pic) and he seem to be burnt too.

Does it happen often that the laser fry?? Even on un-modded ps2 slim?

EDIT: ok... i just tried a PlayStation game and guess what? It worked!!! Does that mean my lens is not fried???
