ps2 sicthes off after bout 10mins

i got sick of my modchip not workin so i opened pu my ps2 to try and get to it, but gave up as it requires alot of fiddling around. Then all of a sudden the fan cable came out and i dont no where 2 put it bak in. i beleive this could b y my ps2 is now shutting itself off after bout 10-15mins as it overheats or sumtin

Why don't you just plug the fan back in? The PS2 gets pretty hot and it would definitely overheat if it didn't have any air circulation.

it connects to the motherboard...just chedk the mobo in the radius of the length of the wire...

unless u pulles the wires out the plug .....
