Ps2 shrinking ???

Hello i have a psp iso that is 4gb and my flash drive is only 4gb so it doesn't fit. In order to get it to fit i replaced all the pss files with a small 2b pss file (retaining original names) but when i tried to load it on usb advance i just got a black screen. What could i have done wrong ? and is there some better way to reduce the size? The game i was trying to get to work is Naruto Shipuddin ultimate ninja 4.

you mean PS2 ISO right not PSP ISO ?

and where did you got that ISO ?

Yea i mean ps2 iso and i got it from my original cd a while ago in case i starched up the cd.Recently my cd stopped and my dvd drive died from a power surge. so now i've been trying to see how to do this with usb but the game is a little bigger than my flash drive.

not all games are compatable with usb advance also you have to down sample the original pss files not just replace them your best bet is to try a bigger flash drive and check http://list.sksapps.com/ for compatability

Please explain what down sampling is. Also is there like a link to a tutorial i really don't wanna buy a flash drive to play a ps2 game at half speed X.X

the game is about 3gb and you got it from cd ?

btw it will be best for you to get an External HDD if you want to play games off usb hdd using USBAdvance .or take a look at this one for Shrinking the games .

Sadly that doesn't work with usb hardrives or flash drives.

I think you misunderstood the intention of amp2006 here.

It is true that the tutorial he linked begins and ends with HDLoader-specific tools, so those parts of it obviously do not apply to any other game launch method, such as USBAdvance.

But regardless of what game launch methods you use, they all use the same kind of ISOs, and those ISOs can be shrunk by very similar methods that only vary in some occasional details depending on the launch media (eg: repatching DVD ISOs for use on CD discs etc).

So if you scroll down a bit on the linked page you will find information on shrinking that has nothing to do with HDLoader, and can be applied to all kinds of PS2 game launch methods, including USBAdvance.

after i did the 1234 thing it shrinked, but when i tried to play it on usb advance it didn't work.

May be the game needs replacing the IOPRP file like Ultimate Ninja 3 ?
