ps2 shows video in green
ps2 shows video in green –
I have a ps2 that has the video but it is green, Where does the problem lie on the board Can some one steer me in the right direction and tell me the problem
BS = be specific
Video on DVD video, games, or both? Check your connections, maybe one is loose.
movie or game picture has green shades only
connections are good used different cords
Ok, so now I would have to know this:
Do you have a modchip? Did you try installing a modchip? Did you do anything to the circuit board? Is this a new ps2? If not, how old is it and did you get it used?
machine is 50000 model never opened
Did you try it with another video cable ? Set the output to rgb in the settings menu. Did you test the machine on another TV ? There are so many possible reasons of a bad picture that you have to test some more things. Did it work fine earlier, or it was green form the beginning ?
This has nothing to do with the tv or cords,I have tried different tv,The playstation was playing fine, O turned it off , Went back to play and this is what I got, Picture shows up but has green tinging to it, also I have audio.. Is there a place on the board that where resistors could have went faulty causing this, If so could you point me in that direction
Cable can be damaged anytime. But why do you open it if that is not modded ? Do you really think you can repair it ? I'd pass that it to a pro or if it is unmodded to Sony, and I'd not try to play with it. Video controller is not that easy to change, not to mention its price. (if that is the problem at all...)
