I have a Japanese SCPH-35000, it's laser died and I replaced it with a brand new, original KHS-400C. Now it won't read DVD's, no matter what I do with the 2 screws. Thing is, I can put in a KHS-400B, screw around with the 2 adjustments like there's no tomorrow, and it'll work properly.
Yes I've desoldered the antistatic pad below the head.

Is my PS2 not compatible with this laser? If it isn't, anyone wants to trade (brand new lasers preferably, as I bought 2 and both of them don't work )
