PS2 Rgb Scart question.
PS2 Rgb Scart question. –
i bought a ps2 rgb scart and i still had the feeling that even everything is set-up correctly the output on tv is still through composite. I have read some threads on ntscuk and someone said there that it is pretty common that noname ps2 rgb scarts have pin 16 not connected, which is bad, because pin 16 in scart connector tells the tv go into rgb mode. I've opened the scart connector and i found out this is the case with my cable. From what i've read there should be a resistor between pin 8 and pin 16, so that on pin 16 is 1-3 v to trigger the rgb mode. I couldn't figure out what resistor should it be, can someone tell me what resistor should be there(or which wire should be connected there? Buying a new cable seems a little unnecessary to me in this case...Thx.
