Ps2 RGB cable?

(Slightly) Better than composite but not as good as rgb. I found this manual here: http://www.go-gddq.com/upload/2009_0...2412217802.pdf which is not your model but might be the same chassis. It matches what you say about the black and blue scarts sockets. They are both RGB enabled.

One way you can tell for sure if you are using RGB is to go into the ps2 config and deselect RGB output. If you are connected via RGB then everything will go green when you select Ypbpr. If you are on composite then there will be no change.

Alright thanks that link has been very helpful, the tv on the pictures is the tv I have so they must be similar models. So there may be a change but it is so small I can't notice it? I'm going to look for some ps2 s-video cable now I guess and s-video to scart conversion

you'll find both on ebay for next to nothing

The S-VHS to scart is only a physical conversion, it will only work if the scart can take S-VHS. Most TVs have 2 scarts, both of which can take composite signal. Quite often they can both take a component signal, one will take RGB, the other will take super video. I think it also has to be a TV that is capable of sync on green, so even if it does support RGB, it still might not work.

is there any way to know if my tv is capable of "sync on green" because I have no idea what it is
