OK, my warranty expired and my PS2's CD drive is now having disk read errors again, after I sent it in to have the original problem fixed. The PS2 was accidently pulled off a table and landed on a wooden floor; it hasn't read disks since. I grabbed your usual DRE repair manuel off the internet and went through the process.
However, my PS2 will read PS1 disks, but nothing else, no matter how much or where I turn the gear. How can I fix this problem?
