I just ordered a new premod system. My old PS2 stratched every disc and DVD I put in it, for whatever reason. I found this on ebay and was wondering your guys opinion on it?

i'm not sure how or why your ps2 would sratch every disc you put in it. the only time mine ever scratched a disc was when i hit it bc i got mad at the game.

Anyways, I havent heard of a problem like yours before, and a new ps2 should fix that. So I say get your new system and test it out with a few discs. If it still scratches your discs, then make sure you are handling them properly first...then go ahead and get that mat.

I had a console with the same problem, made me scratches all over the media. After I put in such a protection mat, no more scratching. But I'm sure, that the new console will not make it. It's a tray problem.

it might also be the lens rubbing on the disc.
