ps2 problems

sometimes when i try to open the tray it wont open. it will try to come out but its stuck.

have you tried to take the front cover off your drive? I hade the same problem. If so, part of the tray may not be snapped in. I fixed it using a credit-type card and pushing the piece down with the drive closed to get it to open.

the little peg "guide" under the place where you put your cd on may be a lil chipped off and you may need to readjust the gears under the laser cover.

when it wont open i just lift up on the kinda push up on it and it comes open i tryed it vertical and flat same problem but am goin take off the cover later
