nope... unless you make a program to overclock it..

maybe you could increase the speed by removing some resistors on the mainboard. good luck finding which one

lol, that would be interesting to watch

why would you even do that? don't you know what happens to PCs that are overclocked for a long time or those that push it too much? fizzle or dont work...

my friend overclocked his athlon a while ago and video became scrambled, and windows wouldnt work, so imagine the fun the ps2 would give you even if you did somehow do it

well if you oc it by a few mhz and its nice and cool there shouldnt be to much to worry now if you push 20mhz+ that could be bad, and its a unique idea but I highly doubt such a thing

HAHA! CPU doesn't cause video to scramble. That's the video card. He probably overclocked his video card to cause that. CPU doesn't cause video scramble because it doesn't process any video data. The graphics card does that. LOL

it was because he overcloced his cpu 350mhz and his video card 100mhz

yes it was 'smart' and he had alot of fun getting it to work again

why not water cooling the ps2 just like they did with the xbox? Let's not forget cooling while overclocking!

Dont get me wrong the ps2 is a perfect beast.
but some crap games that arnt programed well
would benefit from a few more mhz = more frames.

i once read a thread somewhere ages ago
that someguy did it to his ps2 got it to 306mhz.
well the ps2 is not really hot a it's current temp
so a small boost really wont make much difference in heat.
it wont need to be water called.

i just wanna know how i can do it.
    my main ps2 is a dms3 v9 modded one
and my "other" ps2 is a v7 unmodded. i would like it to be pushed...
