PS2 new question
Hi everyone, love the forum. Congratulations!
I have a friend with an x-box with 4-5 emulators on it (snes, nes, genesis, gameboy advanced) and like thousands of games (roms) installed on the harddrive. I was wondering how they did that AND most importantly if it can also be done on a PS2 console?
Any help or instructions would be great
thanks everyone :)
xbox has a lot of emulators because many win32 emulators can be ported to the xbox fairly easily. if you goto the homebrew thread in these forums you'll see that there are a few emulators out for ps2. (snes, nes, gba (soon).) they dont work as well as the xbox ones though :(
do u know any sites or links that show how the process is done? The roms can be had easily but where do I get the speciifc emulators for them and how would I ftp them to the hd? which partition, etc?
So if there's any links on this info, it would be great so I can read on it.
For the Xbox, the emu tutorials can be found at xbox-scene.com
FOr the PS2 look at the forums here. You can find the programs easily, but you might have trouble finding the roms. Once you get that stuff burning them to CDR is easy. You can fit a couple hundred games on each CDR.
I think if you go to consolevision.com and to the ps2vision section, they have many tutorials there....
