Ps2 Lovers E May Have A Problem

With the new 'and improved' PS3 coming out roumours have been spread that sony will stop doing PS2 games and concentrate on the 'next generation' of gaming.

Lets just hope (if they are true) that they chamge thier minds

and how is that any different as to when the PS2 came out? do you still see PS1 games being made everywhere?

but they made ps1 games (when ps2 was out)
you can get 2005 games on ps1

why would you want to keep playing OLD games when the technology will be far more better.

because not all of us have mommies to buy us the latest and greatest new toys....

And EA for one is planning on making games on the PS2 till 2008 last I heard.... for it is cheaper to develope for a console that you already know... than to learn a new one...

The PS1 is still a top selling console... so I doubt that they will stop selling it for a while after the PS3 comes out.... never know though

well my mommy dont buy my gaming consoles she never have i always bought me own with a job. i have plenty of ps1 games but the quality isnt as good as they are now let alone when the ps3 comes out. to play classic games once in awhile is ok but i wouldnt base my sales on making old games.

really? and what location in the world are they top sellers? i cant remember the last time i saw a PS1 for sale.
