Ps2 Keeps going into browser

ok this machine is v7 magic3.1 2weeks old
I was playing midnite club II then i decide to change the game, so when i put in the next game it will startup then just go to browser, now i have tried it with all my games and orignals and it just keeps on going to broswer while i can hear continious loading noises ,spinning at meduim ish speeds not highspeed enuff to load

what is wrong now?
basically every game goes in browser, no red screen no notig

When it goes into the browser, does it say that it's "Reading Disc..." ? If it was working before, maybe there's some dust on the lense. Try using a CD lense cleaner.

sometiems my chip does that for me, all I do is just restart the PS2, put it in standby, and retry. It is a pain in hte ass I know, but what can u do.

its about 1week old and goes into broswer for any game i even took the chip off and still the same thing, i took it to a shop that fixes ps2 they said its the main chip that controls the laser that is toast

Heh ... Same problem I got with a NTSC-J SCPH-39000.
And mine died "virgin" (It was supposed to play only FFXI or original games)
But with the drive dead, there was no way to load the expansion so I took the unit apart for using the parts and am using the HDD in my US unit.
