Was recently provided a disc full of utilities for scanning and adjusting the settings of a PS2. The guy I got it from apparently has a buddy in one of Sony's affiliated repair centres, where they use these apps in conjunction with a jig of some kind to determine and adjust all manner of settings.

The utilities are all gui-based, and damn comprehensive. Just not usable.

Any of that make sense? Any ideas on this 'jiggy' thingy?
