PS2 games backup
Is there a way to backup the games that I have bought, so that if there is a problem with them down the road I have a viable disc? My PS2 is new and was bought this Christmas. I have heard of something called Swap Magic 3, but don't know if this will allow playback later. If not Swap Magic 3, are there any other thingd that will work? I don't want to mod my system.
I dont know if I understand what you're asking, do you want to know how you can back up your games?
Swap Magic is merely an alternative (not as effective) to a modchip.. Has nothing to do with burning games.
To burn games, you obviously need dvd-r discs (preferably Verbatim), and a burning program. A good burning program would be DVD-Decrypter, which you easily can find on google.
Now, if you were asking about a way to let your PS2 play burned and foreign games, then modchip and swap magic are the only ways to go.. As I said, Swap magic isnt as effective, since it isnt supported by all games. Every game works if you've got a modchip. But, SM takes away the worrying of damaging your console (like when modding), so thats a plus.
Thats what I was asking. Does SW work with most games?
Well yes, it does. I guess around 90% of all games work with SW, so thats pretty good.
yeah like the MLB 07 the show which working using swap magic..and i guess its still not working using other methods
