PS2 file manager?

Is there a file manager for PS2?

Basically I have a DMS4 Pro modded PS2 with Toxic OS. All I want to do is transfer a PS2 save game from my PC to my PS2 Memory card, either via a USB drive or both the save file and file manager burned to a disc.

The reason:

Im trying to play Zone of the Enders 1 however when trying to save my progress the system just resets to the browser screen with what appears to be some ZoE data, but the game cannot see it. I thought by perhaps sticking some ZoE save data onto my memory card and just overwriting it may work.

I should state I have tried both my original PAL and US NTSC copies and with 4 memory cards (3 of which are official 8MB cards...)

All help is appreciated!

I would recommend you check out uLaunchELF. The official forums are here and the official download thread is here (unofficial LaunchELF v4.42).

Maybe re-formatting one of those cards using this (Release: MC Annihilator v2.0) might help also.

Thanks for the help, tried that now, but I still cant save ZoE1 its so weird, everything else is perfectly fine.

I have no idea whats up..

If you can't backup that data using uLaunchELF then perhaps the data is corrupted, which would also explain why your game "resets to the browser screen." Have you checked out MC Annihilator v2.0? Try using it's MC Image option to create a backup your memory card, then try restoring that image onto another card to make sure it's backed up, then format the original card and see if you can get it to not reset back to the browser screen. I've never tested out this MC Image feature, but that is what I would try if I was in your situation.

If he has filesystem-errors, I rather suggest to backup all saves to PSU on USB and then use MCA v2 only to format the MC.
