is everything else working fine - did it just die?
Moslt likely either be the fan's seized up or the fuse couldve popped. Open it up - check the fuse. As you have it open you might as well open up the fan as well and oil it.

thanks ill try it.
i dont know how it could have siezed up.
when you blow it it spins freely.
[COLOR=DarkOrange]That fan is only for the power supply but it would be good if you replaced it
Just Get it fixed by a Game store the fan just plugs in and slides out
the fan works i think a fuse might of burnt out or the ps2 doesnt have the power for it.
i connect the it to the controller ports power to the pins that power the memory card and it works fine now.
thanks for the help.
i just wanted to know does it blow cool air into the console or hot air out.
hot air out. Let me know what version ps2 you have and i'll point out the fuse to check. Or if your not sure of the version just check all the fuses![]()

v9 thanks for the help.
Check PS5 - if blown replace with a 0.7A

thnx ill do that
the fan does cool the big heatsinks on the emotion processor and stuff
IT IS NOT JUST FOR THE PSU !
