PS2 DVD Player v2.12 change log?

I was just wondering what the changes were from the dvd player driver that comes with the ps2 to v2.12. thanks

The driver allows you to use the sony remote. No extra features though.

I have the remote, but I didn't install the new driver and the remote does work...

I heard that with the old drivers, the Playstation had trouble reading two-sided DVDs and that the new driver fixed this. That is just what the guy at the store said. I really dont see how two-sidedness would make a difference.

Also, some playstations already come with updated drivers for remotes depending on your version.
