ps2 dvd drive replacement

Hi, I just wanted to ask if my v3 dvd drive can be put on a scph-50001 one because my v3 doesn't show any video at all but has brand new laser and I plan on buying a v9 broken ps2 that doesn't read any disks at all but has video. Thanks.

i dont fink the laser is the same
but i could be wrong

the dvd drives are totally different. pull the ps2 apart and youll see the insides are totally different.
