my ps2 can't play some dvd copy and also cd, (mod :magic 3)
it saz disc read error while boot the disc, only a few game can be played : nfs hot persuit 2 one of the quick boot dvd copy, others sucks!!
anyone pls help me !
whats wrong with myps2

Sounds like you may have to clean the laser.....

nice tips, but is there anything free 4 solutions, i want to clean my ps2 lens by myself. i'd like to open it but doesn't have any guide, so pls help me out here guys !!

Basically, all you have to do is take off the top, (be careful of the eject/reset cable), then take off the CD-ROM cover, and you now have access to the laser. Just use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Get the q-tip wet (not dripping wet) and rub it gently on the laser. After that, use the other end of the q-tip to dry the lens and put it all back together.

Thats how I clean my laser on my V7. (its a lot easier for people with flip-tops....lol) Sorry I dont have any pics.

when i clean the lens, then how can i set the lens to get cd or dvd 4 quick boot
