bad reset eject cable blown fuse
did you pay the bills![]()
was this a result of a mod installation? or did it just happen one day? I to would consider the reset/eject cable, but I would take a close look at that power supply! what version ps2 is this?
First of all check the fuse of the power supply WITHOUT taking and risks... meaning while power is off. secondly the mother board has a lot of fuses for protection. see charles notes about fuses. so get your multi meter buzzing and working. after that check the reset cable if it in place correctly... if nothing is successful remove any mod chip there is ans re do all these tests. if without the mod and all fuses work and there is not power ... its time for some more serious work....
power your ps2 and ith a multi meter check the voltages going into the mother board. these sould be 12v if not then get a driller and drill a hole in the mother board and use it as a key chain :P
