Hey everyone,
OK - Ive been emailing various sites and have gotten no replies.
I have a V7 Ps2 with the Messiah2 Pro. Now I want to make the case stand out from the rest of those out there. Not sure if I want to paint it, but ive been trying to find someone that sells replacement cases in either original form so I can chop it up and see what I can do, or in transparent or various colors.
Can someone please help a me out here?
Thanks in advance all. Please reply to this post and ill email you, I cant check my AOL email since I am deployed, and not sure if I want to post my temporary address.
Cya,
TD

goto www.richspsxparts.com for extra cases
If you paint it you will have to paint the tray cover also
Give www.freedomlives.com a look over there are lights there
I got an extra case from richs and bought a light kit from LOD at freedomlives he also cut the letters out for me and this is what I came up with click here
Paint guide
Step 1 Disassemble the case and remove the cd tray cover (4 screws 2 more to take tray out and one screw holding the front of the tray on and removed Sony emblem with a knife and covered up the USB ports. Also one screw in tray cover holding emblem in place
Step 2 Sanded down the top of the ps2 case to smooth out some of the rough spots (found out that since I had plastic primer this wasn?t necessary)
Step 3 Applied 3 coats of primer even at a distance of about 1.5 ft away I waited 1 day between each coat
Step 4 Repeated the 3 coat process with the flexstone paint
Step 5 Repeated the 3 coat process with the triple thick gloss.
Step 6 reassemble case
I have heard of some using thick clear tape on the front and then using an exacto knife to cut out the tape to the letters shape to keep the "PS2" intact while painting
