Is it possible to use a glass fuse instead of the smd ones that are in the ps2? I can't find them anywhere.

If I use a glass fuse, would it be possible to solder a wire from each end of the glass fuse to the blown fuse without desoldering? What kind of wire can you attach to the end of a fuse rated for 2 amps?

Do I need to use a fuse holder if I use the glass one?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm a newbie at soldering.

you can use a normal fuse if its rated at the same fuse rating. solder wires to the fuse, and insulate it, an then solder the wires to the blown fuse.
