ps1 memocard on ps2?

so i need to get ps1 card to ps2 to save ps1 games?

if you have 1ghz + pc with 3d acced card, you can run ps games using emulator; you can make them look better + you can save the state at any time. all games i tried ran without a problem

That's mostly true. The PS1 emulators are getting quite good at this point, but there are still games that don't work right or at all. Xenogears crashes at the Deus fight just like a PS2 with graphical smoothing does. Vib Ribbon doesn't work at all on any emulator(that I know of).

It's an option, but nothing beats the real thing IMO.
