    I asume you use cdr's but do you just do a regular burn or do you need a special program.

    Yeah it is just a regular burn (note in clone cd choose audio sounds a little nuts but it is right). I recommend Sony cdrs or TDK they both work pretty good in my ps2 but from what I hear verbatim is god like. Haven't tried like any of my imation ones cause I still have the ps1 and use it for ps1 games but I hear they kinda suck.

    I was trying some original PS1 games in my modded V7-magic3.1- and several of them would try to load and then freeze with a red circle with a line through it over several lines of bars and dots. What is the cause of this????????

    Sounds like copy protection to me. Not sure but you might need to patch it.

    YES! some of the originals detect the chip and kill the boot. Dino crisis and like one of the spyros will do it. There is no way to get around it on a ps2 yet so you can copy and patch the game or play it on a properly chiped ps1.
