PS two Version ??? –
02-07-2005,06:16 AM
Hey m8s....
i where to install a new board with laser in a old case i had from one of the first ps two i got but it burned so i used the old case to install a hole new board and laser but then the laser was to large to fit in the slide ther is made in the case for the laser to run, so i needed to remove some of the plastic with a knife for the laser to fit so it can run as normal.
why is the cases not the same? how can i see what fits together? i guess this is all about version but how do i see the diffrence? and does this mean that SONY made a new and better type of laser to the PS two?

Actually I don't, it seems to be different and since my friend works at ebgames says that the newer version has not been returned otu of 150 consoles, except for 2 but those kids were like 2 years old adn it had obvious dents from being dropped.

so maybe they made a new laser that can hold up if you just use a simple fix like summOne's fix? :P
without doubt SONY has found out that the first laser in the ps two suxx big time and was getting tired of all the returnes!

Hmm... If they did, when was the new version released? Any new info about it? Is this the 4D people were talking about?
