    Hi guys,

I have a v10 PS2 with matrix 1.82 and a component cable connected to my 42" LG HDTV.

The problem is that I ONLY play the PRO SCAN games if there is an option into the menu (GOW, Jak3, Shadow of the colossus etc).

Games like BLACK, or RE4 where supposedly you need the Triangle+X combo do not seem to work. My PS2 menu is set to the pro scan option and not RGB.

I just want to know if when you press X on the HDloader menu to start your game (i.e. Black) is Triange+X going to work?

If not is there any other way? Also is there anything I can do from the MATRIX MENU????

    THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just press & hold triangle+x when choosing my game from HDLoader. RE4 for example. Works no problem.

I tried this with GT4, and it doesn't seem to be working. When I choose 480p in the screen option mode, my monitor goes black. I know 480p works on the ps2 since I tried it in Black. Any ideas? BTW, I'm using s-video.

480p doesn't work with s-video cables. Only component and maybe vga cables/DVi if there are such a thing for PS2s.
