If you meant whether you could use FMCB to boot SMS (to play music files like MP3s), and/or to load a PS2 disc emulator to play PS2 game backups:
1. SMS can't run on a SCPH-10000, and I don't think that there's any other media player that can run on a SCPH-10000 either.
2. Open-PS2-Loader can run on SCPH-10000 and SCPH-15000 PS2 consoles, so you can use it to either load games that are stored on your 10K console's HDD (If you have one), or from a USB disk.
No problem.

I was trying to fix SMS for 10K and 15K PS2s... but I can't build any working copies of SMS (even fresh copies from the psp.jim.sh SVN mirror).
They all crash in the same way:
#1. When loaded from PS2link: A crash on the EE (Traced and patched the issue, but it still crashes like #2).
#2. When loaded from other media: Freezes, displaying "Initilizing SMS..." on the screen.
I've hacked a copy of PGEN 1.5.1s to work on a 10K... but it's still under testing.
It's not a proper solution either (No HDD support, like the regular PGEN 1.5.1s build), unless someone can make the PGEN source code compilable without any errors on any modern PS2 compiler set and development environment (MSYS/CYGWIN, or even just Linux

).
