Problem to Formatted my Memory Card!

Hi to all!

Here I come with another problem which is not whether to go here... if not here, sorry!

Well, the problem is that I can not format my memory card (Sony) 8MB, my PS2 recognizes in the "Browser " option, but when I enter it says: "No format, you want to format?" I put "Yes" and says: "can not be formatted"...

Also I try to format it with 3 programs:
Free McBoot
McKiller
McFormat

But none of them worked... just told me: Failed!

I can do to repair my Memory Card?

Anyone know any other program or method in special?

try with another Format tool which is MC Annihilator

Thanks for responding! well, just try the program you told me and like the other programs do not work for me.
However, this program attempt to format the MC (other programs could not do so), but fails to complete the process...
I try with 2 options, "Fast Format" and "Full Format ", but both options, the charge to 100% the status bar, stop right there.

There any other program that can help me with this damn memory card?

Which version did you try?
One of the first versions, or the one which is officially titled v2?

Is the 2.0 version and the model of MC is SCPH-10020

Maybe you should try to unformat it first?!

Yes, I try unformat the memory card, then format them with the
console, but it allows me the format...

Hmm... you might want to clean the pins of your MC and try using the 2nd slot of your PS2 instead.

You might have a MC that is on the brink of failure.

I try in slot 1 and 2 and both get the same result.

I disarm the MC and apparently in perfect condition.

Also I disarm my PS2 and see if a fuse was cut, or the flex that connects to the motherboard, but not in perfect condition.

They do not know any other program that serves to format MCs?

memory cards do not last forever.. if the card is as old as the console then it might be time to get a new card.....
