problem booting up.....

I ve got a problem booting up silver discs, all others work fine. I ve got a version 4 with a no-solder chip i use with swap magic. my swap magic dvd wont work either. my tray slide bar broke so when it opens it ejects to a side. Amyone got any ideas how i can fix it? the not booting up the discs not the tray

So basically it is not booting up DVD? Well a V4 is pretty old and the laser is probably worn out. So that could be the reason why it won't read.
