Recently, I messing up with Tekken5, which they have quite a good graphic, then I found out, there is a option on graphic, "Soft". Yupe if you switch off this option, you are getting back some kind of the old Tekken3 graphics, too pointy and too polygon.

Now, I was wondering, if that command can make Tekken5 look nice, is there any possibility to make the other games to get the same effect "soft", by using some homebrew or some mod on the ps2 or etc?

Boot your ps2 with no disc in tray... you'll get the browser screen... press triangle and go into the verson screen... now select Playstation driver and press triangle again.. now choose texture mapping as as smooth.. this does'nt work with all the games but may work with some of the games you have...

    1) That only works on PS1 games.

    2) it causes quite a few games to crash, so be careful with it.

Overall, though, it does make a lot of PS1 games looks nice.
