someone must know something
It should work O.K., as long as you patch the game correctly and burn a good backup. Don't try to load it off your HD though, it won't work.
You wont be able to play it online. When I was chose to do the 25 to life beta they wanted me to go online to play the multiplayer.
I don't know about socom 3, but i am beta testing a game, and it does have DNAS on the beta.

I just imaged tonight my EverQuest Beta 3 disk to see what I can do with it on my PS2. Never touched it while the beta was going on. Somehow its got dirt marks on the disc despite only leaving its sleeve about 3 times in its lifetime. I'd image Sony won't be happy if they figure out your using it on 2 different PS2s at the same time by 2 different people. But you never know.
i guess ill find out soon
ok i grabbed the dnas off of the original socom 3 beta disc. i patched my backup using the same dnas disc id. and its giving me a dnas 864 error.
anyony have any input???
Try it on Crystal Chip with the latest DNAS bypass hacked firmware.
